Ordered by Baltic International Bank, the silver bowl has become a
valuable contribution to Latvia’s art scene and the premise for the
realisation of the shareholder’s Valeri Belokon idea to create a unique
collection of art masterpieces which could have a special place in the
country’s culture and heritage.

The silver bowl “The 21st Century Renaissance” is 120 cm high, 75 cm
long and 65 cm wide, weighs 35.37 kg, 925-finenes. On the backside,
there is a gilded engraving that refers to ancient China where world’s
earliest money originated, to the 21st century Riga. The bowl was
created by Oleg Auzer, a very talented and renowned jeweller from Latvia.
The masterpiece has enriched the bank’s art collection. For the first time, it was exhibited for visitors as part of the 2010 Museum Night Event in Riga. Now, the artwork is available for viewing in the Museum of the History of Riga and Navigation, the Silver Room.
