Member of the Supervisory Board
Andris Ozolins joined Baltic International Bank in July, 2015, taking the position of Adviser to the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board. In January, 2016 he became the member of the Supervisory Board of the Bank. Previously, Andris Ozoliņš held various senior positions in AS DnB banka - he was a member of the Management Board and later - the Chairperson of the Management Board of AS DnB banka. A.Ozoliņš was Management Board member of DNB NORD Bank ASA as well, being in charge of retail and corporate business in the Baltic States, Poland, and Denmark. Andris Ozoliņš was also a member of the Supervisory Council of AS Reverta and a member of the Supervisory Council of AS „Kredītinformācijas birojs”.
A.Ozolins has graduated MBA With Distinction from the RTU Riga Business School. He also holds MBA in Political Sciences and the Graduate Diploma in Philosophy from the University of Latvia. He studied economics and politics at the University of Wales. A.Ozolins is a proud holder of certificates from Banking Institution of Higher Education (Latvia), International Institute for Management Development (Switzerland), European School of Management and Technology (Germany), The Royal Institute of International Affairs (RIIA or Chatham House) based in London, and others. Languages: Latvian, English and Russian.
His special areas of interest include philosophy and history, especially cultural history. He reads a lot of literary fiction and professional literature in business management and economics. He pursues an active lifestyle. His great passions are alpine skiing and hiking.
