Ilona Gulchak started her professional career at Baltic International Bank in 2000 as an assistant to the Chairperson of the Supervisory Board and has been promoted to roles of increasing responsibility since then. She has been always committed to ongoing professional learning and development. Later, she was responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of Bank’s internal control system and compliance with the AML/CFT regime. Also, she supervised the Private Banking Department, Legal Department and Bank’s foreign representative offices.
Ilona Gulchak holds her MBA from the University of Warwick (UK). She also holds Master’s Degree in Economics and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Latvia.
She is a person of many accomplishments. Her leisure-time activities include travel and sports. She enjoys reading (philosophy and business literature). She values human traits such as kindness, wit and single-mindedness.
