Valeri Belokon Awarded Honorary Title by The Prince’s Foundation
The Prince’s of Wales’s charity, The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment awarded the title of Honorary Member for 2011 to Baltic International Bank’s shareholder Valeri Belokon for his contribution to the charity during the past year, active cooperation and support to the implementation of sustainable development.
“2010 has been an exciting year for The Foundation; it witnessed a notable increase in international projects, with significant roles in China, India, Haiti, Saudi Arabia, the USA and the Galapagos Islands. Closer to home The Foundation has been involved in projects from East Ayershire to Rushden and a milestone in the year has been the October launch of a joint MSc in Sustainable Urban Development with Oxford University, helping to continue to attract top students and increasing the demand for our Education Programme”, the Chief Executive of the Foundation Hank Dittmar resumes.
Valeri Belokon was appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment in 2010. The Foundation’s mission is to help people build communities that are beautiful, long lasting and healthy for people and the planet.
