Bank Supports Nordic and Baltic business days event in Ukraine
On 24 March, the Nordic and Baltic business-days event was held in Kyiv, Ukraine. The event was organised by the Latvian Embassy in Ukraine with support from Baltic International Bank and Accountor, a leading Finnish accounting and payroll services provider.
The main theme of the conference was Nordic & Baltic business in Ukraine: how to navigate during turbulent times? Challenges and new opportunities ahead. The event brought together entrepreneurs from Ukraine, Nordic and Baltic countries, entrepreneurs from international enterprises having their representative offices in Ukraine, officers of foreign embassies, the World Bank Country Director for Ukraine, the representatives of business organisations, business experts, and diplomats to discuss the opportunities to strengthen the business environment in Ukraine and facilitate international co-operation in light of current circumstances.
Officials of the embassies of the Nordic and Baltic countries, Business Ombudsman for Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Initiative Algirdas Šemeta, the IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine Jerome Vacher delivered their speeches to the participants.
The Nordic and Baltic business days conference in Ukraine was held for the third time in a row. This year, the representatives of 140 companies have attended the event.
